Celebrating continued excellence at the world’s leading spirits competition.
Skeeps Vodka has been awarded a Silver Medal in the Tasting Awards for Vodka at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) 2026, recognizing outstanding quality at one of the world’s most respected blind tasting competitions.
Established as a global benchmark for excellence, an ISC medal is widely regarded as a definitive mark of quality, craftsmanship, and consistency.
Skeeps Vodka is a premium, full-bodied vodka produced in Michigan, from a blend of local non-GMO grains.
The word Skeeps is the nickname for a long-standing and popular college sports bar in Ann Arbor, Michigan called Scorekeepers.
It is frequented by students and athletes from the University of Michigan.
Bartenders and management at Scorekeepers developed Skeeps Vodka in partnership with Ann Arbor Distilling Company to provide an alternative to the “call” vodkas we are serving. We went through several iterations, combining customer feedback with distilling experience to craft a flavor profile that worked for us. It has been well-received during in-house use.
Skeeps Vodka has received state approval for open retail sale, where it will appear on store shelves in new packaging.
“Our expert judging panel only awards medals to spirits that meet our highest standards,” said ISC organizer Justin Smith. “The ISC continues to receive exceptional entries from across the world, and we remain committed to recognizing excellence in spirits production.”
“It’s an honor to receive this award,” said Keith Foltz, Scorekeepers owner. “We are always trying to improve the experience for our customers. This is a quality product that we can serve while keeping our prices down and supporting a local distiller. We’re excited to see Skeeps Vodka recognized alongside some of the finest spirits in the world.”
The ISC is known for its rigorous and impartial judging process. Every entry is blind tasted and assessed within its correct category, age, region, and style, ensuring a level playing field for all products. Each submission is evaluated by a panel of over 80 leading industry professionals over three weeks of judging under tightly controlled conditions.
Now in its 31st year, the ISC continues to attract thousands of entries from more than 70 countries. Its blind tasting format remains a hallmark of integrity and expertise within the global drinks industry.

A complete list of 2026 medal winners will also be available online and featured in the ISC Annual Results Magazine in October.
